Matcha We participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission when you purchase products through links on our site, at no additional cost to you.
How Affiliate Links Work
When you click an affiliate link on matchawe.com and make a purchase, the retailer (Amazon, Jade Leaf, etc.) pays us a small commission. You pay the same price you would have paid without the link. The commission comes out of the retailer’s profit, not your pocket.
Programs We Participate In
- Amazon Services LLC Associates Program — We earn from qualifying purchases made through Amazon links.
- ShareASale — We may participate in affiliate programs for tea brands available through ShareASale.
- Direct brand partnerships — We may have direct affiliate agreements with individual matcha brands.
Our Editorial Independence
This is the part that matters:
- We do not accept payment for reviews. Affiliate relationships do not influence our ratings or recommendations.
- We only recommend products we would use ourselves. If we haven’t tried it, we won’t recommend it.
- Negative reviews are possible. If an affiliate product is bad, we’ll say so. We’d rather lose a commission than mislead you.
- Affiliate links do not affect product pricing. You pay the same price whether or not you use our link.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate links on matchawe.com may appear as:
- Direct product links to Amazon or brand websites
- Buttons labeled “Check Price” or “View on Amazon”
- Links within product review articles
Some links may use URL shorteners (like amzn.to) for cleaner formatting. These are still affiliate links.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255). We disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and conspicuously, as required by FTC guidelines.
